If you haven’t heard of Foucault’s Pendulum by Umberto Eco then you will soon. It is the new DaVinci Code. It’s another thriller, but a little slower moving and more intellectual. It involves another grand historical conspiracy with the Knights Templar. It’s starts out as a hoax started by three main characters Belbo, Diotallevi and Casaubon but then it becomes the question of where is the line between real and invention. It plays out slowly revealing the plot like an onion. Most reviewers either love it or hate it.
