The results are beginning to trickle in on DealDotCom. The question on everyone’s mind is the same. Is it a scam or a gold mine?

What is DealDotcom anyway? DealDotcom is a new website in the Deal of the Day category. It has the same spunky attitude as Woot. They concentrate on the Internet and have focused mainly on software so far. The deals have been well below 50% off of the normal retail price. They have sold out of the deals every day. It is mostly software so there is no inventory constraints. It’s free to join. On one level it is a good deal for the average consumer. It’s like the Costco of the Internet. Cashquests wrote a post showing how to get a better deal by going to the original website and signing up as an direct affiliate and buying one for yourself. There is a debate if that is ethical or not but it is a viable alternative. But where is the real money going to be made?

The Goldmine

If DealDotcom did not offer an affiliate program then the debate would be over. It’s a good site and you might save a little money. You will not retire on that though. But, the affiliate program is where the real money will be made.

How?

They offer a lucrative two tier affiliate program. The first tier is the queen bees. The queen bees are the people that you send directly to DealDotcom that sign up. You get 35% of the profit of DealDotcom from your queen bees that purchase a product from them. That is a good deal. But it gets better. Now when your queen bees sign up customers,called worker bees, then they fall under your umbrella as well. You get 15% of the DealDotcom profits from these worker bees purchases. It does have the feel of a pyramid scheme but it only has two levels. But those two levels can be a goldmine for you.
