Is Google Adsense scamming you?

I have Google Adsense on individual posts in this blog. I am also a proud member of Mybloglog. The visitor stats between Google analytics and Mybloglog do not always agree on visitors. But, I have found the Mybloglog stats give good results on the “What readers clicked” data. If it says I had a comment or a hop to another site it usually checks out. But there is one glaring discrepancy. The click difference between Google Adsense impressions on the Google Adsense account page and Mybloglog clicks for ads. It’s not even close. Of course, Google Adsense has a much lower number.

I emailed Google and received the nice response that they are too busy to respond to email. Then they sent me an email with a survey about their customer service. Needless to say I lowered their curve of customer satisfaction dramatically. As I search on the Net, I see that Google has explained this click discrepancy as their “click fraud algorithm”. Apparently, the only fraud is by their algorithm. Let’s charge the advertiser but not give the publisher credit because some people click their own ads. Sounds like a good policy. Has anyone else noticed this. Is there a good explanation?
