It’s time for the second installment of Blogs Under the Radar. I search the Internet looking for interesting blogs with great content that are just getting started. The Alexa rank must be above 100,000. Although,I believe they won’t stay below there for long. I subscribe to their feed and try and advertise on their site. Why? I just finished reading The Long Tail by Chris Anderson. It’s a great book about the economic benefits of the Internet Revolution and the benefits of the long tail.I believe emerging blogs in the long tail offer good content and traffic.
Today’s blog is Superbloggingtips
The woman behind the blog is Taylor. It’s been around for nearly six months and has plenty of great content. As you can guess from the title, it’s about giving readers tips to improve their blogging experience. A couple of Stumbles have helped traffic and rankings grow in the past few months. The layout is clean and navigation is easy with a top posts section and a
diverse categories list. Currently, there is a contest for free advertising space. The rules are pretty simple and involve commenting, subscribing, or linking. I’m in for all three. I even bought one of the Recommended Sites links. I think the early track record is just the tip of the iceberg. A few more viral posts and Supperbloggingtips will be an established money making blog. Be one of the early ones. Anyone can join John Chow now, but who was there at 138 readers.
